Hello! Chum Reap Sour, Greeting from Cambodia, Vathanak Chhuong Leap High School is a public school which is located in Koh Kor Village in Cambodia. This school consists of 42 teachers including 15 female teachers, 1 male school principal, 2 male sub-directors and 2 administrators including one female and one male administrator. There are 883 students, 475 are female students. Vathanak Chhuong Leap School was established in 2004 in the name of Vathanak Chhuong Leap Secondary School. After years it was renamed Vathanak Chhuong Leap High School officially approved by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, Cambodia. We have been involved in Korea-Cambodia exchange programs in 2019. After the program, we have continued the activities with the host school, Suncheon Hyocheon High School located in Suncheon city, under the title of “Making Global Friends and E-Friends Project” for two years during the COVID19 pandemic. Until now we are still receiving many GCED training online and are planning to establish GCED club for students to let them deepen their knowledge on GCED and keep active in the program. We have received a few visits from overseas schools including the United States of America and Japan. Our school also implemented exchange programs abroad such as GCED teacher exchange program with APCEIU in Korea. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have continued online training including International Online Conference and International Online Class with Korea, the United States, and the Philippines. Our next project is to make an MOU between Vathanak Chhuong Leap High School and Suncheon Hyocheon High School to let the students understand culture through an exchange program. We hope that this project can be supported by APCEIU and both countries. We warmly welcome any school that is interested in cooperating with us.
