ABOUT
APCEIU is a UNESCO Category 2 Centre mandated to promote international understanding and global citizenship to build a Culture of Peace in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond through various programmes, ranging from training workshops and teacher exchange programmes to the development of educational resources and policy research. Culture of Peace is based on respect for life, rejection of violence, —whether it is physical, psychological, structural, cultural, or ecological—, respect for diversity, mutual understanding, tolerance, human rights, democratic participation, equality, and sustainable development.
